The new A6 will hit the market in early 2011. The Audi sedan features new solutions in all technical areas, such as a lighter body, a sports suspension and a host of new support systems and multimedia. The program engine and gearbox is also varied. Of particular note A6 hybrid, which will be released some time later and combining the power of a V6 with the consumption of a four-cylinder.
Offer the new Audi A6 in combination with five engines, two petrol and three TDI. Render engines of 177 hp and 300 hp. All make use of technologies from the modular efficiency program for the brand: the start-stop system, the energy recovery system and an innovative thermal management.
All versions of the A6 series present consumption to 19% lower compared with the corresponding previous model.
Somewhat later Audi A6 launch hybrid: the 2.0 TFSI and electric motor develops 245 bhp of power in the propulsion system ensuring efficient and sporty, while the average consumption is limited to 6.2 liters per 100 km (value provisional).
Offer the new Audi A6 in combination with a wide range of gearboxes and traction systems. Depending on the engine can be equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, the multitronic continuously variable or the sporty S tronic completely new.
The new Audi A6 will be in dealerships in spring 2011. Its base price in Germany will be of 38,500 euros.
